The right print technique for your logo

Compare laser, UV, pad and screen printing according to product material, colour and intended use.

Print quality matters as much as the promotional product itself. The same logo behaves differently on metal, plastic, glass, ceramic and textile surfaces. Selecting the right method helps preserve readability, balance and durability.

Why print method matters

Material, surface shape, number of logo colours, printable area, order quantity and intended appearance all influence the choice. There is no one method that fits every product.

Laser application

Laser application is commonly used on suitable metal surfaces for a clean, durable and understated appearance. It can suit metal pens, flasks, keyrings and selected desk products.

UV printing

UV printing can be appropriate for detailed, colourful artwork on suitable flat surfaces. Surface shape and expected wear should be checked before confirmation.

Pad printing

Pad printing can be useful for small, curved or irregular surfaces such as plastic pens, keyrings and small accessories. Artwork should be adapted to the print area.

Screen printing and textile applications

Screen printing can be considered for suitable broad surfaces, including bags, caps and T-shirts. Fabric type, colour, number of colours and quantity affect the method.

Prepare the right logo file

Vector artwork in AI, EPS, PDF or SVG format is preferred because it can scale without losing sharpness.

Approve before production

Confirm position, size, colour, product variant and wording before production. A digital application image helps align expectations and reduces avoidable rework.
